In September 2016 Chris made the transition to residential real estate after 30+ years in the hospitality industry and he has savoured every minute of this exciting new challenge!
Chris loved his time in the restaurant business—working in a fast-paced, high-energy, foodie environment was immensely satisfying and fostered critical skills that have paved the way for his new chapter. Now, nothing is too high pressure or unsolvable. From meals to (now) mortgages, creating meaningful experiences for those on his watch has always been part of his DNA. And that food? It still plays a starring role: all his clients receive a catered party as their house-warming gift. To boot: He knows how to spot a crackerjack kitchen in any house.
Chris still operates with the same credo: customer service and satisfaction, which continue to be his guiding principles. As a realtor, he focuses on this in a more life-long, altering way: helping people find the home of their dreams all with a no-nonsense, focused and committed approach.
Chris is proud to say that he has been married for over 20 years—and coincidentally to an architect. As such, renovating or building houses is something he has been immersed in from the get-go (his wife designed both of their restaurants and oversaw all renovations). This informal influence has helped teach him how to identify potential, as well as excellence, in houses. Houses with good bones, houses where small renovations will maximize value, neighbourhoods on the verge of cycling up: these are all opportunities he wants to share with his clients.
